Ok...so I stink at updates!

Blah....sorry.....Life went by too fast for me.

Ok so here is the SHORT SHORT version of the last 6 months or so.

I ended up leaving my OB....to put it mildly I wasn't happy at that practice and I only went for my Husbands piece of mind. As soon as my Gestational Diabetes results came back ok I went back to Bay Area Midwifery, where I was much happier and comfortable.

I gave birth to our baby girl on DEC 13, 2008. We named her Margaret Elizabeth Mallon. My husband has taken to calling her Maggie, I call her M. :)

I was in labor for 36 hours of which I did 22 hours naturally before requesting the epidural to get some much needed sleep. I had a great support system consisting of several of my dearest friends, my husband, and our Doula Jenni. Without whom I could not have done it without her support!

After a few weeks of getting my Mommy legs about me we are now officially full time Cloth diapering. So yay! She looks so cute in her diapers!

So far so good!

Let's see.

I am at 13 weeks and today I heard the babies heartbeat for the 1st time. My heart melted. Beanie is still very small....but already I am head over heels in love.

Morning sickness is still rough...my OB actually gave me the go ahead to stop my prenatals and start taking Flinstone chewables. So hopefully that will help. I also have been maintaining weight for the most part and have only lost a pound so I guess that's good news.

Just think! In a few weeks I can find out what we are having! :O

Hi everyone!

Welcome to our baby blog.

Generic for now but I'll add pictures and fun stuff as this adventure continues.

Why did I do this. So that our families and friends can get updates on the baby and pregnancy.

Hopefully I'll keep on top of this!
